Bar le Côte’s Gambas al Ajillo

2023 Carhartt Estate Sauvignon Blanc. We are pleased to share this recipe and hope you enjoy it at home for when you’re not able to dine in person at Bar Le Côtè

Ingredients

  • 5 Head on Gulf Shrimp
  • 1 tbsp Garlic, chopped finely almost to a paste
  • 2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 oz. Chopped Parsley
  • 3 each Cloves of Garlic, sliced thin and fried till golden brown
  • 1 tbsp Salt


PREPARE SHRIMP

Season Shrimp with salt on both sides, sauté in Olive Oil until just slightly cooked – remove from pan and place on a plate.

SAUCE

In the same pan add the rest of the oil and the garlic. Cook the garlic until it is nearly translucent and tender. Remove from the heat add the lemon juice to the pan and the parsley. Mix well until it’s all incorporated and then season with salt. Pour the sauce over the shrimp and garnish with the fried garlic chips.
